Event XXI of the Age of Strife

§
The First Tongue already begins to fade and the ability to communion with the living things of the world, and with the earth and waters, the forests and mountains, also diminishes. For most, this takes place rapidly, and the Elifaen develop a new, cruder language in order to speak with each other. Some very few retain use of the First Tongue for a long time, even developing a way of writing for it. But they, too, over the ages that follow, are unable to fully retain the language.
