Many Elifaen grow discontent and resentful of Cupeldain and Silmain who represent to them the excesses that led to their Scathing. Squabbles erupt over position, power, and land. Strife abounds as there are frequent feuds and bloodshed amongst the Elifaen. Secundur continually roams the world, nurturing discord, planting weeds of mistrust, and delving into crafts taught to him by Morgasir.
