Year 475 of the First Age

Kalzar's dynasty is renewed as his descendant, Tajahnaman, rises to power in the southern Dragonlands. Although he is only in his early twenties, he proves to be a charismatic leader, and builds a powerful army. His armies crush opposition within the Dragonlands, and extend his rule northward. In the southern regions of the Dragonlands, Tajahnaman quickly takes control of the important waterways and agricultural activities. He reorganizes the trade guild system, and reconstitutes the priesthood under his direct authority. By the Year 475, he is twenty-eight years old and has instituted a new system of provinces, each controlled by a semi-autonomous city-state, and his empire stretches throughout the desert lands south of the Blue Mountains and west of the Tulivana Mountains.
