More earthquakes are felt throughout the world. A series of great waves, some over 90 feet in height, pound and inundate the coastlines of the east with waves reaching far inland. Although sparsely settled, many Elifaen villages and settlements are completely destroyed, along with vast areas of marshland.

Many scholars of Mortal History will later propose that these tumults (earthquakes followed by tsunamis) must have coincided with the mysterious cataclysms that destroyed the ancient homelands of Men and set them to roam the seas for six generations in their great City Ships.
