Serith Ellyn and her brother Thurdun return to Vanara and overthrow Parthais. Parthais is killed, and Serith Ellyn becomes Queen of Vanara. The last year during which Parthais ruled is considered the last year of the First Age of the World, by order of Queen Serith Ellyn.
